Dua for Waking Up
Transliteration:
Al-ḥamdulillāh alladhī āfānī fī jasadī wa radda
alayya rūḥī wa adhina lī bidhikrih
Translation:
All praise is due to Allah, Who healed me in my body, and returned to me my soul, and permitted me to remember Him[1][4][5].
Alternative Dua for Waking Up
Transliteration:
Alhamdu lillahil-lathee ahyana baAAda ma amatana wa-ilayhin-nushoor.
Translation:
All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection[4].
Comprehensive Dua for Waking Up
Transliteration:
La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahu-l-mulku wa lahu-l-hamdu, wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer, subhanallahi walhamdu lillah, wa la ilaha illallahu wallahu akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi al-‘Aliyyil-‘Azim, Rabbi ighfir li.
Translation:
There is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner. His is the dominion, and to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over all things. Glory be to Allah, and all praise is for Allah. There is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. There is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great. O Lord, forgive me[1].
