Here are some powerful duas that can be beneficial to recite before and during an interview, drawn from the Quran and Hadith:

Dua of Musa (AS) for Eloquence and Ease

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِى صَدْرِى وَيَسِّرْ لِى أَمْرِى وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِن لِسَانِى يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِى
Translation: “My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance]. And ease for me my task. And untie the knot from my tongue that they may understand my speech.”[1][5]

Dua for Mercy and Guidance

اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو فَلَا تَكِلْنِى إِلَى نَفْسِى طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ وَأَصْلِحْ لِى شَأْنِى كُلَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Translation: “O Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye. Correct all of my affairs for me. There is none worthy of worship except You.”[1]

Dua for Success and Trust in Allah

وَمَا تَوْفِيقِى إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ أُنِيبُ
Translation: “My success comes only through Allah. In Him I trust, and to Him I turn.”[5]

Dua for Ease in Difficulties

اللَّهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلًا وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلًا
Translation: “O Allah, there is no ease other than what You make easy. If You please You ease sorrow.”[3]

General Dua for Well-being and Protection

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّى أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِى الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّى أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِى دِينِى وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِى وَمَالِى
Translation: “O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my world, my family, and my wealth.”[1]
