Here are the authentic duas (supplications) that are commonly recited during Iftar, the time of breaking the fast:
Dua 1:
Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa ala rizq-ika-aftartu
**O Allah For You I have fasted and upon your provision, I have broken my fast.[3][5]
Dua 2:
Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa alayka tawakkaltu wa ala rizq-ika-aftartu
O Allah I fasted for You and I believe in You and I put my trust in You and I break my fast with Your sustenance.[5
It is important to note that the dua ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ is considered unauthentic as a specific dua for breaking the fast[1][3].
