When praying for a sick child, there are several duas that can be recited, drawing from Islamic traditions and prophetic practices. Here are some of the most commonly recommended duas:
Dua for Healing

ูู ุฑูุจูู ุงููููุงุณู ุฃูุฐูููุจู ุงูุจูุงุณูุ ุงุดููููู ููุฃูููุชู ุงูุดููุงูููุ ูุงู ุดูููุงุกู ุฅููููุง ุดูููุงุคูููุ ุดูููุงุกู ูุงู ููุบูุงุฏูุฑู ุณูููู

Transliteration: Allaahumma rabbin naas, adh`hibil baโs, ishfihi antash shaafi, laa shifaaโa illaa shifaauk, shifaaโan laa yughaadiru saqamaa
Translation: Oh Allah, the Lord of the people Remove the trouble and heal him (i.e. the sick person) for You are the Healer. No healing is of any avail but Yours; healing that will leave behind no ailment.
Dua Seeking Protection and Healing
ุฃูุนููุฐู ุจูุนูุฒููุฉู ุงูููููู ููููุฏูุฑูุชููู ู
ูู ุดูุฑูู ู
ูุง ุฃูุฌูุฏู ููุฃูุญูุงุฐูุฑู
Transliteration: A’oozu bi’izzatillaahi wa qudratihi min sharri maa ajidu wa uhaaziru
Translation: I seek protection in the might of Allah and His power from the evil of what I am experiencing and of what I fear.
- This dua is recommended to be recited seven times while the ill person places their right hand on the area of pain.
Dua Asking Allah for Cure
ุฃูุณูุฃููู ุงูููููู ุงููุนูุธููู
ู ุฑูุจูู ุงููุนูุฑูุดู ุงููุนูุธููู
ู ุฃููู ููุดููููููู
Transliteration: As’alu Allah al ‘azim rabbil ‘arshil azim an yashfiyaaka
Translation: I ask Allah, the Mighty, the Lord of the Mighty Throne, to cure you.
- This dua is to be repeated seven times.
Dua for Protection from Harm
ุฃูุนููุฐููู ุจูููููู
ูุงุชู ุงูููููู ุงูุชููุงู
ููุฉู ู
ููู ููููู ุดูููุทูุงูู ููููุงู
ููุฉู ููู

Transliteration: U’eethuka bikalimaatillahi ttaammati min kulli shaytaanin wa haammatin wa min kulli ‘aynin laammatin
Translation: I seek refuge in Allah with His total words from the evil Satan, from every poisonous animal and from the evil eye.
Dua Using the Names of Allah
It is also beneficial to call upon Allah using His names, such as Ash-Shafee, The One Who Cures – The Healer, when asking for healing and protection.
Reciting Surat An-Nas and Surat Al-Falaq
Following the practice of Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ, reciting Surat An-Nas and Surat Al-Falaq and then blowing breath over the body can also be beneficial for healing.
